Morgan IAT was founded in 1987 with a specific focus on the innovative capabilities of product design engineer Howard Clarke. The company initially specialised in developing medical products. In the late 1980s, in partnership with a GP, Morgan IAT conceived and launched its first lesion generator, which was successfully sold into the National Health Service in 1989.
Our business philosophies of innovation, teamwork and ethical business practices are the cornerstone of Morgan IAT. We design for manufacture and pride ourselves on our flexibility. Our priority is to get new ideas to market with both parties securing a fair return.
Our people are at the heart of our business, and we strive to foster a happy working environment, which promotes teamwork and inclusion. The company was an early adopter of flexi-time and operated an optional four-day working week. Not only does this give staff more free time it also reduces travelling time and fuel use. Morgan IAT also operates a profit share scheme.
Our impact on the environment is essential to us, and we strive to operate more sustainably. We are moving to a paperless office and supporting our staff to live a healthy lifestyle with free access to welfare and counselling services. We have also just submitted our application for B-Corp status.
