As one of the few UK Plastics Injection Moulders to offer full mould tool servic- es, The Pentagon Plastics Group is excited to be returning to the Meet the Toolmaker event.
Its comprehensive Tooling Division is ISO9001:2015 accredited and provides cus- tomers with moulds for in-house production, support for moulders, maintenance, servic- ing, repair and modification for existing tooling.
Over the last four years the Tooling Division has seen growth and expansion of its servic- es to continue to meet customer demand. The company has also invested in state-of- the-art laser welding technology and addi- tional CNC machinery, and has been suc- cessful in recruiting new engineering talent.
The Horsham-based site is home to skilled designers, engineers, toolmakers and machinists delivering full manufacture of bespoke mould tooling including develop- ment tooling, basic tooling, multi-cavity moulds and suites of tools.
Pentagon is committed to working closely with its customers to deliver optimum solutions for their projects and provides a comprehensive 'design for manufacture' review service.
Customers benefit from expert advice on product improvements, mould tool type, mould tool configuration and mould flow analysis.
Tooling manufactured for on-site production
is closely monitored between production runs to identify any areas of wear or damage. This ensures that any down time for maintenance work is identified early and minimises the impact on future production runs.
For support with existing tooling the Pentagon team are experts in their field and can provide a wealth of experience and care for your mould tooling. Any repairs, servic- ing or maintenance is carried out in a timely manner as Pentagon appreciates that down- time for mould tooling can be costly.
The Pentagon team is very willing to discuss your bespoke require- ments. Please visit the website for more information.
