Forgings & Castings
Forging is a manufacturing process involving the shaping of metal using compressed forces. The blows are usually delivered via a power hammer or a die. Forging is usually classified according to the temperature at which it is performed: hot forging , warm forging, or cold forging.
Casting is a manufacturing process whereby a liquid material is usually poured into a mould, which contains a hollow cavity of the desired shape, which is then allowed to solidify. The solidified part is also known as a casting, which is broken or ejected out of the mould to complete the process.
