Ceratizit UK & Ireland expands special tools service with a five for three price promotion on solid carbide tools

The drive for shorter cycle times has seen demand for special tools completing multiple tasks increase, to meet this demand Ceratizit Group has assigned significant additional capacity. To mark this expansion in service Ceratizit UK & Ireland is offering five tools for the price of three on all new orders for a limited period.

This will bring several benefits to customers with the guarantee of the highest quality, cost and the speed of delivery being key among these. “Fast turnaround is paramount when customers are looking for special tools, so we have streamlined the process to keep lead times to a minimum,” says Ceratizit UK & Ireland’s Technical Manager Shaun Thornton. “Customers simply complete a form giving details of the tool required, email it directly to Ceratizit and we will respond within two working days with a quotation and PDF drawing of the tool for confirmation. The tools would then be delivered within three weeks upon receipt of a purchase order.”

Solid carbide tools included in this service include end mills and profile mills, drills and step drills between 3 and 32 mm diameter, along with reamers and stepped reamers between 2 and 20 mm diameter. All tools can be provided with a coating suitable for the particular material application. To make programming easier Ceratizit can also issue detailed CAD drawings once the order has been received. For these special tools there is a minimum order quantity of three pieces of any individual tool, but for every three tools ordered Ceratizit UK & Ireland will add in an additional two tools, free of charge, during the initial offer period.
