MPs have launched an inquiry into whether the UK Government’s support for airport expansion projects, including those at Heathrow and London City Airport, will jeopardise its ability to deliver legally binding climate and environmental commitments.
The cross-party Environmental Audit Committee (EAC), led by Labour MP Toby Perkins, will seek information from Ministers, environmental experts and aviation industry figures.
