Estimated reading time 2 minutes

Hexagon Metrology UK has expanded its training academy programme to include a trio of new courses offering foundation training in co-ordinate measurement.
The new options cover a practical guide to measurement uncertainty and introductions to co- ordinate measurement and dimensional metrology. Other new topics available in the coming months will include portable software and products plus a range of eLearning and blended learning courses.
They have been added to Hexagon Metrology’s existing foundation training schedule, which already provides a practical guide to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing as well as basic PC-DMIS and Quindos software courses.
The company has also extended its range of NPL qualifications with an introduction to metrology e-course. In addition, there are opportunities to further boost skills with a series of advanced courses in PC-DMIS and Quindos software.
All courses are specially designed and delivered by Hexagon Metrology’s team of fully- qualified, time served trainers and held throughout the year either at its Telford technical centre or new Milton Keynes precision centre.
“We have built a comprehensive picture of training needs and created a series of courses to deliver good quality skills and knowledge in the measurement sector,” explained UK aftermarket sales manager Sam O’Prey.
