MachineBuilding.North will return to Manchester on 13th May 2026, bringing together the UK’s machine building, systems integration and industrial automation community for a one-day event focused on practical engineering solutions.

Registration is free for verified manufacturing professionals, with VIP visitors receiving access to all workshop sessions, Concorde experiences, and a complimentary breakfast roll and hot drink for those arriving before 11:00.
Organised by The Engineering Network (TEN), the event has already achieved a sold-out exhibition floor, featuring more than 140 leading suppliers spanning machine safety, motion and drives, industrial networking, robotics, control systems and energy efficiency technologies.
Designed specifically for machine builders, systems integrators and manufacturing engineers, the event provides a focused environment where visitors can evaluate solutions, compare technologies and engage directly with technical specialists.
Alongside the exhibition, MachineBuilding.North will host a programme of CPD-accredited technical workshops, delivered by industry-leading companies such as Pilz, SICK, B&R, Lenze, Beckhoff and PI UK, covering key industry topics including machinery safety, robotics integration, industrial cybersecurity and automation architecture.
A key feature of the event is its Technology Trails, which guide visitors to relevant suppliers based on specific application areas, helping engineers efficiently navigate the exhibition and identify the solutions most relevant to their needs.
The event takes place at the Concorde Conference Centre, located at Manchester’s Runway Visitor Park, providing a distinctive backdrop that reflects the innovation and ambition of the engineering sector. As part of the visitor experience, attendees can take part in guided tours of Concorde G-BOAC and access a fully immersive flight simulator, offering a unique opportunity to experience engineering excellence first-hand.
With its one-day format, MachineBuilding.North is designed to deliver maximum value in minimum time, allowing busy professionals to gain insight, source solutions and connect with suppliers in a highly efficient setting.
MachineBuilding.North forms part of The Engineering Network’s wider MachineBuilding events programme, which also includes MachineBuilding.South and MachineBuilding.Live.
