Borehole drilling to investigate the viability of reopening an historic tin and tungsten mine in Cornwall is to start at the end of next month, the firm behind the project said today.

Mine exploration and production company Strategic Minerals told shareholders in a London Stock Exchange update that it was ready to sink nine new boreholes to a total of around 5,300 metres at its Redmoor tungsten-tin-copper mine.
