Rotork, the Bath-headquartered specialist oil and gas valve manufacturer, today said it expects to make further progress this year despite the uncertainty in its markets caused by the war in the Middle East.
The group, which designs and makes high-quality flow control equipment for the global oil, gas, water and power industries, said it was “mindful of the recent geopolitical uncertainty” in comments from its CEO alongside its annual financial results.
Rotork’s share price came under pressure on the London Stock Exchange yesterday as markets reacted to the unfolding events in Iran and across the Middle East and fell a further 9% this morning as soon as the market opened.
