Services
At SGH, we support you from initial concept through to final production. Our expert team helps optimise your design for manufacture, while our in-house facility — with 40 to 350 tonne presses — delivers consistent, scalable moulding. Backed by ISO-certified quality systems and full traceability, we ensure every part meets the highest standards, every time.
Product Design and Development

Whether you’re starting with a simple sketch, a prototype, or a fully formed CAD model, our team is here to support you in turning your idea into a manufacturable, high-quality product. We provide CNC prototyping for investigation into design refinement, supported by 3D printed (SLA) testing and refining design to production intent.
We work closely with clients to review and refine designs, ensuring they are optimised for injection moulding — saving time, reducing waste, and improving cost-efficiency. From material selection and wall thickness analysis to draft angles and undercut avoidance, we take every detail into account to ensure your part is both functional and production-ready.
For clients in the early stages, we offer design assistance to help bring your concept to life. For more established products, we can advise on modifications that improve performance, durability, or manufacturability. We also offer prototyping options, allowing you to test and validate your design before committing to full-scale tooling.
Throughout the development process, our team keeps communication clear and collaborative — so you’re always informed, involved, and confident in the final outcome.
