Three-quarters of C-suite executives within UK businesses believe their firm is well-prepared to meet regulatory demands to measure, disclose and manage its Scope 3 (indirect) emissions. However, six in ten admitted that they’re unsure whether their firm is investing sufficiently in the tools and technologies needed to track and reduce those emissions.
These are some of the headline findings of a new survey of 600 C-suite leaders across the UK, Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific Region, conducted by consultancy Argon & Co.
Scope 3 emissions, resulting from activities in upstream supply chains and downstream activities like product use, account for the bulk of most large businesses’ total emissions footprint.
