TWO NEW APPOINTMENTS FOR GLAZPART
Glazpart is pleased to confirm two new appointments to its senior management team with Deborah Roberts joining as Head of Procurement and Chris Mahoney appointed Technical Sales Director.
Deborah started her career in procurement operating as a buyer in the electronics sector before moving to manufacturing where she has headed up procurement departments for companies in the aerospace, medical and automotive sectors. Since 2020, Deborah has operated in the plastic injection moulding sector, leading on procurement and supply chain management.
On joining Glazpart, Deborah commented, ”I’m delighted to join Glazpart at such an exciting time. As Head of Procurement, I’m looking forward to developing and strengthening our procurement function, working closely with both our internal teams and supply partners to build a robust, aligned supply chain that delivers real value and supports the continued growth of the business.”
Wes Ball, Glazpart Managing Director commented on Deborah’s appointment, “Deborah brings a wealth of procurement experience across multiple markets and sectors. She also joins our Senior Leadership Team, where her strategic approach will help strengthen our procurement function, develop supplier partnerships and support our wider growth strategy.”
Starting out in process engineering, Chris Mahoney has extensive experience and a formidable senior management background in technical and business development in the automotive industry where he was worked with renowned car brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, Mini and Nissan. Since 2018, Chris worked as an Operations Director for a plating on plastics company, driving growth in moulding (up to 1100T) incorporating tooling, alongside value added secondary processes (plating, painting and assembly).
On his appointment, Chris commented, “I am pleased to join Glazpart and look forward to developing the technical and bespoke side of the business. With Glazpart’s world class facilities, expertise and capacity, the company is perfectly placed as a solutions provider that can offer a complete end to end service, from design to tooling to finished product. It’s exciting times for Glazpart and I am looking forward to contributing to its future success.”
On Chris joining Glazpart, Wes added, “Chris brings extensive technical experience in injection moulding across multiple sectors, together with a strong background in product design and project management. His combination of technical expertise and commercial focus will be a great asset as we continue to support our customers, develop new opportunities and drive innovation.”
