Hexagon Metrology UK has launched a promotion on Swift-fix portable workstations, which are designed for use with its range of ROMER measuring arms.
The measurement solutions provider is including a modular Swift-fix fixturing kit, normally an optional extra, as a limited time only offer with every workstation purchase.
Supplied in a rigid plastic carry case with protective high-density foam inserts, the flexible kit offers simple to build, unlimited configurations, which eliminate the need for expensive,
dedicated fixtures.
The kit also ensures a wide variety of parts can be discreetly clamped not only for accurate and repeatable measurement tasks, but also maximum access for probing.
Swift-fix workstations are available in two sizes and are fitted with swivel, lockable wheels, making them easy to move around the shop floor.
They also feature an adjustable laptop mount, which provides a raised platform for notebook computers that can be extended outwards up to 57cm. It is designed to tilt 20° and
incorporates four anti-slip pads.
