Hexagon New Products Measure Up At Show

A new range of portable, shop floor measurement solutions from Hexagon Metrology proved popular with visitors at Advanced Manufacturing, the UK’s biennial production engineering technology show.

The leading metrology solutions provider reported huge interest in its centrepiece display, which comprised a robotic demonstration cell featuring the new Leica Absolute Tracker AT960.

Meanwhile, a collection of versatile ROMER portable arms, in particular, the new Compact version for measuring small to medium parts, offered plenty of opportunities for hands-on experience.HM_AM_web

In addition, the latest generation shop floor 7.10.7 SF coordinate measuring machine, with integrated, flexible part fixture system for quick changeover of individual parts or part types, attracted the attention of show goers.

Other products promoted at the NEC Birmingham event not only included a Leitz Reference Xe CMM, but also 7 Axis arms and Swift-fix fixture kits and workstations.

“It was a successful show which provided our sales team with a large number of good quality enquiries for many of our new products. It was an important event in our exhibition schedule, especially in a non-MACH year,” commented sales and marketing director Brett Green.

Hexagon Metrology’s range of new products will be on show at MENE in Newcastle from July 8-9 followed by Offshore Europe, Aberdeen, from September 8-11.
