Lloyds Bank Economic Update – Navigating the New Normal

Economic Update – Navigating the New Normal

Lloyds Bank would like to invite you to join a live call with our economists and our Global Head of Invoice Finance.

As we are encouraged to take tentative steps towards a ‘new normal’, against a backdrop of rising infection cases around the world, additional fiscal support for both consumers and businesses has been announced to inject confidence into the economy.

While we look to policy responses from governments around the world and the major central banks, an assessment of the emerging activity and sentiment data and its impact on corporate decision making will be key to understanding how the next phase of the recovery evolves.

During this call, panellists will discuss policy updates from the Bank of England as well as the additional fiscal stimulus from the Chancellor. We will also cover developments on the global stage, focusing on responses to spikes in COVID-19 cases as well as rising geo-political tensions that continue to fuel uncertainty in financial markets.

As our focus shifts to helping clients build resilience and bolster working capital, we are delighted to be joined by Ben Stephenson, Global Head of Invoice Finance. Ben will offer his insights on the impact of COVID-19 on his markets and potential responses to mitigating some of the associated risks. He will also share how by working together we are helping to enable many businesses resume trading with confidence.

The panel will respond to questions received through the pre-registration process on any other topics of interest. There will be a significant amount to discuss and the call should be of keen interest to all businesses.
