Up to 40 jobs are under threat at Kegworth-based engineering business Slack & Parr, less than three years after the company was rescued from administration.

The industrial pump manufacturer has launched a consultation process that could affect almost 40% of its workforce at its Long Lane facility, where around 103 people are employed.

Slack & Parr was acquired out of administration in August 2023 by Hayward Tyler Fluid Handling, a subsidiary of engineering group Avingtrans, in a deal that initially safeguarded around 100 jobs.
