Collaboration

GTMA engages with other trade associations, government bodies, and organisations to access market information and bring our members intelligence to help their businesses. This collaboration extends to running joint events to bring potential Clients to the attention of members.

We are Affiliate Partners to MAKE UK, and participate in SHEP meetings to understand ongoing Health & Safety concerns facing industry. Our engagement with Government is done through membership of EAMA, an alliance of Engineering Associations jointly represented at Central government in Westminster.

GTMA has strong ties with Universities and Catapult centres across the UK, supporting projects that can feed into advances in manufacturing products and services. We also link with training delivery partners including In-Comm, to signpost members to upskilling and Apprentice courses.
