Siemens Energy is hosting two Meet the Buyer events for its UK offshore wind business at the Global Manufacturing Festival at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre near Rotherham on June 25.
It is the first formal supplier meeting event for the company in the Yorkshire/Humber/North Midlands region since Siemens announced the £160m investment in two offshore wind facilities in the Hull area in March.
The sessions are particularly focused on fabrication and welding, machining, hire of plant and equipment, subcontracted technical services and construction site set up.
