At the recent European Dassault Systemes Sales Convention in Monaco, Desktop Engineering (DTE) had a highly successful event bringing home 3 prizes for their performance and activities in 2018 – more than any other business partner in the territory.
Firstly, the company won the Award for Best Performance for 3DEXPERIENCE on Cloud.
This represented the result from the years’ activity in expanding the usage of On Cloud within their customer set, but also in winning new customers across different industries. The construction industry is more receptive to Cloud offerings and DTE took advantage of this by acquiring new customers in both the UK and Switzerland. Further, the recent availability to CATIA V5 users of Cloud-based data management and collaboration using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform as this backbone, proved a winner. DTE secured over 30 accounts, including a subsidiary of a major oil company, with this new offering.
Secondly, Mr Chris Palmer Business Development Director, won the prize for the Top Salesperson in Europe, Middle East and Africa for the Customer Transformation Program sales campaign. A campaign started at the beginning of the year where customers were given loyalty discounts – this was a key component of Dassault’s sales drive. This region represents a third of Dassault revenues and so Chris can count himself in the top 3 salespeople worldwide for this activity.
Finally, Desktop Engineering was elevated to a Platinum Partner, which rewards a broad range of 16 different elements of performance. The company was second in Northern Europe in this category.
