THE CHALLENGE: The client wanted to find out if they could save money and improve efficiency by choosing a different telecoms supplier to deliver a more efficient communications infrastructure across its two sites. Current invoices were difficult to decipher with a number of different agreements in place with varying end dates and terms & conditions. The clients’ telecoms set-up was not fit for purpose and it required a new point-to-point data line whilst the main site required a brand new leased line.

THE SOLUTION: Our Relationship Manager, Harley Piper, worked with Finance Manager, Darren Wilkie to carry out a full review of telecoms requirements covering lines and calls, broadband and data provision. Using billing provided by the current provider, Harley was able to deliver a direct comparison with like-forlike products. Darren was particularly interested in investing in data, therefore this was included in the proposal.

THE RESULTS: We were able to deliver a new leased line with considerably improved bandwidth, 10 times the speed of that offered by the incumbent supplier and at comparable prices. Supported by Client Support Manager, Kirsten Buglass, we were able to deliver the fastest ever implementation of a leased line which took just two weeks to install. The client now benefits from vastly improved data performance and communications infrastructure.
The next steps will be to move the client to a hosted telephone platform.
