Physical Digital is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted in the Small Business category of the British Engineering Excellence Awards 2015.

High quality 3D scanning and related services

Physical Digital’s team of dedicated engineers is proud to provide high-quality 3D scan data for inspection, reverse engineering and product design services  for  its  many  diverse clients across a range of engineering sectors.

Tim Rapley, Managing Director, described his delight  in  reaching  the  shortlist:  “Since 2005, Physical Digital has been providing the highest quality 3D scanning services to many engineering clients. To be shortlisted for this award is a real commendation and an endorsement of all that we have achieved in the past decade. We are committed to providing engineering excellence for all our clients – and our extensive and loyal customer base is evidence that we are succeeding!”

Innovative and forward-thinking

The British Engineering Excellence Awards celebrate innovative and forward-thinking companies which compete successfully in their relative engineering fields. Physical Digital consistently demonstrates innovation and development, most recently by establishing the UK’s first GOM automated contract measurement facility. Located in the heart of British manufacturing, the facility gives clients access to world-class metrology services without the need for them to invest in their own 3D scanning equipment and systems internally.

Exceptionally high calibre of entries

Organised by leading industry publishers Findlay Media, responsible for New Electronics and Eureka magazines, the Award winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Hurlingham Club in London on 29th October. At the ceremony, 250 members of the engineering community will gather to recognise the achievements of all shortlisted organisations.

“Once again the calibre of entries for this year’s awards has been exceptionally high and the judges have found it difficult to agree on the shortlist,” confirmed Phil Mayo, chairman of the judging panel and MD of Premier EDA Solutions. “The strength of the shortlisted entries demonstrates all that is great about British design engineering.”
