Dacecrown invests in adult learning and customer-facing quality engineering
Dacecrown is continuing to strengthen its engineering and manufacturing capability by supporting Dan Fellows as he retrains and develops into a quality engineering role within the business.
As part of his development, Dan is gaining hands-on experience both inside Dacecrown’s in-house machine shop and out on customer sites.
This practical approach is helping him understand how precision-manufactured components are used in real production environments, while also supporting Dacecrown’s wider focus on quality, reliability and value engineering.
Dacecrown’s aim is to build a stronger link between manufacturing, inspection and customer application. By involving quality engineering in customer visits, the business can better understand customer requirements, identify opportunities for improvement and ensure manufactured components are produced with the end-use application in mind.
The investment forms part of Dacecrown’s continued growth strategy as the company develops beyond general machining and into a more complete engineering support partner for production, filling, capping and packaging businesses.
