Warwick Machine Tools: Your Trusted Partner in EDM Solutions

Established in 1978, Warwick Machine Tools Ltd has built a strong reputation in the EDM machine tool industry, offering extensive expertise and a broad range of EDM machines to a diverse customer base.

In October 2012, we became the exclusive agent for Excetek Technologies’ innovative range of EDM machines in the UK and Ireland. This includes their Wire Cut, Small Hole Drill, and Die Sink EDM machines. Known for their exceptional cost-to-performance ratio, Excetek’s machines are available for demonstration at our Droitwich facility.

Excetek EDM Machines: Compact and Capable

  1. Wire Cut EDM Machines: The Excetek Wire Cut range enhances performance and productivity, optimising production while reducing operating costs. With options for large modular and customised wire EDM machines, we can provide tailored solutions to fit your specific needs and budget.
  2. Small Hole Drill EDM Machines: Since 2006, Excetek has been producing small hole EDM drills for general industry use. Their new range of CNC drilling machines features a highly advanced CNC control unit designed specifically for hole drilling. This system allows users to manage hole shapes, electrode and guide changes, and up to 5 axes through an intuitive interface. The intelligent import wizard simplifies programming by importing from .DXF files, making the process more efficient and user-friendly.
  3. Die Sink EDM Machines: Excetek’s CNC die sinking EDM machines offer high quality and efficiency across various sectors including aerospace, automotive, defence, and tool and die industries. The CNC systems include multi-axis subroutines that are easy to integrate into programmes, providing users with powerful and intuitive control for complex tasks.

Zimmer & Kreim Machines: Precision and Innovation

In addition to Excetek, Warwick Machine Tools is proud to be the exclusive agent for Zimmer & Kreim (Z&K) in the UK and Ireland. Since its founding in 1985, Z&K has built a stellar reputation in the CNC EDM cavity sinking sector, beginning with its first machine developed for LEGO. Today, Z&K’s 'genius' series of multi-axis EDM machines are renowned for their precision, stability, and ease of programming, making them ideal for tackling even the most demanding tasks across various industries.

Z&K machines are designed with a compact footprint to maximise space efficiency without compromising on essential features. Notable highlights include a continuously adjustable work tank, accessible fixed tables, and a standard C-axis, ensuring versatility and precision in every task.
