WNT (UK) will be on hand to help XYZ Machine Tools celebrate its 30th anniversary at the machine tool companies headquarters in Burlescombe, Devon over the over the 1st and 2nd May. All of the XYZ machines will be tooled with WNT products and a range of live demonstrations will be taking place, with the emphasis on increased productivity and cutting tool performance.
If further incentive were needed, all visitors to the event who pre-register and purchase tool sin WNT’s ‘Open Day Deal’ will walk away with a Mitutoyo digital vernier caliper and the opportunity to double their spending power. “As with our own open houses, for any customer that orders a minimum of £150 worth of tooling on the day, we will give them a further £150 of tooling free of charge. We will also have our Technical Sales Engineers on hand to answer any questions that visitors may have about tooling and workholding and, we will be happy to look at individual drawings or components to advise on the best machining strategies,” says Tony Pennington, Managing Director, WNT (UK).
Key demonstrations that will occur during the open house will highlight the performance gains that can be achieved using WNT’s MCR Monstermill solid carbide milling cutters in combination with the Vortex milling strategy. This has been shown to reduce milling cycle times by as much as 50 per cent while at the same time improving tool useage. Maximising the performance of cutting tools and minimising manufacturing costs is a key element of WNT (UK)’s support for its customers, which also extends to its workholding products, such as the MNG Zero Point system that will be on show at XYZ Machine Tools.
