Precision measurement is the day-to-day business of the engineers at Physical Digital Limited, using the industry-leading GOM 3D non-contact measurement systems. Representatives from Physical Digital will be lending their support to the High Value Manufacturing Catapult event at the National Composites Centre in Bristol on 25thMarch.

The National Composites Centre (NCC) in Bristol is playing host to an event giving insight into the state of the art in measurement and product verification. The NCC is part of the national High Value Manufacturing Catapult, a network which provides UK business access to leading measurement technology.

The day will feature presentations about the High Value Manufacturing Catapult, specialists from the Laboratory for Integrated Metrology Applications of the University of Bath and a high-level industrial speaker on the importance of metrology.

MD Tim Rapley is looking forward to the opportunity to network with fellow measurement professionals and to share insights into the way forward with precision metrology. He says: ‘Our daily focus at Physical Digital is to produce high quality measurement data, so I’m delighted to support this event. We know that high quality data transforms our customers’ processes and gives them a real competitive advantage. This is a great opportunity to share best practice with other measurement professionals and engineers.’

The event will also feature case studies, specialists from the National Physical Laboratory on measurement capabilities and a panel discussion on the National Product Verification Programme.
