Bowers Group is delighted to announce that it has won the coveted Best Supplier Partnership award at the Manufacturing Technologies Association’s (MTA’s) 2014 Annual Dinner & Awards held on 6th February.
Bowers’ fruitful relationship with Swiss company, Sylvac SA exactly corresponds to the award’s criteria: celebrating successful relationships between customers and suppliers, at any level of the supply chain, where innovation, sustainability, value and efficiency have led to productive collaborations.
Having enjoyed a 40-year working relationship, together the companies were responsible for developing and bringing to market the world’s first digital 3 point bore gauging system. Through continuing joint cooperation, many further successful, innovative measuring instruments have been introduced. Now, 2014 will witness the launch of their latest joint development; the next generation of Bowers’ world-leading bore gauging range.
