Who we are

Squire Patton Boggs is a global multi-disciplinary legal practice, comprising over 1,500 lawyers across 47 offices in 20 countries. The client base of our practice spans every type of business, both private and public, worldwide. We advise a diverse mix of clients, from FTSE 100 and Fortune 100 corporations to emerging companies and from individuals to local and national governments. We are one of the few firms with the international presence to deal with global operators in the manufacturing industry.

Why use us?

We have one of the world’s leading legal practices, with the industry knowledge to guide you through any local or global challenge you may face.

For more than 100 years, manufacturing, engineering and distribution companies have looked to us for creative solutions to their legal challenges – including business, financial, regulatory and intellectual property issues, as well as with their disputes. We have helped a number of traditional, single-line manufacturers diversify their offerings and expand into markets across the globe. Whether a client is looking to adapt new technologies, sell under-performing businesses or assets to improve profitability and increase its focus on core competencies, or form joint ventures in new industries or across jurisdictions, we have a proven track record of empowering our clients to surpass their goals and expectations. A dynamic company needs dynamic lawyers – not just to stay competitive, but also to lead the way in establishing footholds for expansion around the world.

Our connected approach enables us to scale our services across practice areas and jurisdictions, depending on the particular needs of the client. We also ensure we understand our clients’ products, technologies and business models. As a result, clients never outgrow us – no market or regional niche is too sophisticated or unique for our cross-border legal teams. Our comprehensive experience allows us to understand not only the legal dynamics of the countries in which we practice, but also our clients’ specific business goals and presence in those regions.
