Introduction to EDM Technology
Electrical Discharge Machining is a widely used process including die-sinking EDM, wire-cutting EDM and hole drilling EDM. EDM can be used to machine conductive materials (steel or titanium), for example — of any hardness to an accuracy of up to one-thousandth of a millimeter with no mechanical action. These properties make EDM an essential mould and tool making technology.
