Newcastle Tool and Gauge

Established in 1979 as Newcastle Tool & Gauge, NTG has a long history of manufacturing high-precision components for the most demanding environments. They provide bespoke engineering solutions that respond exactly to their customers’ needs, with a specialism in severe-duty applications.

NTG world-class precision engineering

NTG is trusted to deliver excellence by leading UK and international companies across a range of industries. With a selection of specialist services, their highly skilled team consistently deliver complex parts to an accuracy of 5 microns or better.

With quality as their priority, NTG give customers the reassurance that their components will be right first time, regardless of the complexity or function. Their dedicated inspection team verify every item using a 6-step assurance process. This covers a range of advanced inspection equipment, including multi-axis coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), optical projection, hardness testing and gauge calibration.

As one of only 10 UK businesses to be given World Class status by the GTMA, NTG also has ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and First Point Assessment (FPAL) accreditations.

CMM inspection

To achieve the highest standards of accuracy and precision, all NTG’s finely engineered components pass through a quality process using a coordinate measuring machine (CMM). This ensures clients receive a product that precisely matches their specification and requirements.

Processing and finishing

Complementing their precision machining, NTG provide a full range of post-processing and finishing services, including welding, surface treatments, heat treatment and material testing. These ensure the optimal performance of components suitable for all environments.
